John Ashcroft resigned yesterday. The Justice flak says he’s been real sick. Yeah, but not as sick as the guy who beat Ashcroft for Missouri governor four years ago.

You sick fuck. Oh wait, that's not I meant to say. Where was I? Let's see. Oh, yeah. Could someone please explain the Rapture to me? I mean, what's the big friggin' hurry? If good Christians go to Jesus when they die anyway, why are they so eager to hasten their day own personal judgment day? Isn't actively working toward Armageddon sort of like planning mass suicide? And isn't suicide a mortal sin, punishable by eternal damnation?
BTW: Some linguistic experts think that the Koran has been widley mistranslated: instead of 27 virgins it may be merely 27 grapes. A big deal maybe 1000 years ago. But inflation's a bitch.
